Écoyeux - Saint-Vivien

Last time I visited Écoyeux was during pouring rain in 2012. Now I could see Saint-Vivien in brilliant sunshine. The church was erected within the 12th century and got fortified like a castle during the 100 Years´ War. At that time the walls of the nave got enlarged - and small towers were added. The facade with the typical arches is still pretty intact.
