In most countries, defacing property with graffiti without the property owner's consent is considered vandalism, which is punishable by law.

ah, well. i started as a protest against the grim grey buildings many cities were made of, to get some color. i can live with that, if it's artistic. it has it's charms.

I totally agree. Though every now and then I notice graffiti which is discriminating, I better not repleat the exact words here;)
