Pier Sunrise Bognor Regis

Pier Sunrise Bognor Regis
The Shot

This is my local Pier at Bognor Regis, Sussex, UK. Last Friday 2 December there were some rare clear skies and I took advantage of that and the late sunrise this time of year to get some Dawn shots. Overnight rain had recently cleared which gave the benefit of wet planks in the shot.

Taken with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 Wide Angle Zoom at 10mm. Taken on a tripod with auto bracketing for HDR. 3 raw images 2EV spacing. Opened in Photoshop first and each image noise reduced with Noiseware Pro and saved as tiffs.

The shot was taken on a Tripod at its lowest height to concentrate on the lines of the planks.
