Teguise Church Left Altar [Explored]

Teguise Church Left Altar [Explored]
The Shot

This shot was taken last month which I got round to processing.

This picture was taken inside the Church at Teguise, Lanzarote. This is an inland town which was originally the Capital. The Church does not look very special from outside but inside it has beautiful columns and arches and HDR is very good at bringing out the detail.

The picture was taken on a Tripod with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10 mm.. 3 raw images 2EV spacing. Opened in Photoshop first and each image noise reduced with Noiseware Pro and saved as tiffs.

Photomatix

Outputted in Photomatix to detail enhancer. Click the Camera name top right for Exif details and the settings used.

Photoshop

Adjusted first in Topaz adjust Vibrant detail with some adjustments and a mask used to exclude some areas.

General adjustments in levels and curves to enhance.

Brightness increased with a mask to exclude highlights.

Vibrance layer increase 27 points

Hue Saturation yellows used to tone down yellows in walls using a mask
2nd Hue Saturation layer with a mask to apply it to the columns used to make these whiter.

Noiseware Pro

Duplicate layer with mask to apply extra sharpening and contrast

Filter, Lens correction, custom was used to correct verticals partly and then crop. Some cloning was done at the edges so not too much had to be cropped.
