Pantheon Vertorama Paris

Pantheon Vertorama Paris
The Shot

This was my second day in Paris and start of my first full day. For my first Photo Shoot I headed for The Pantheon which is a building in the Latin Quarter in Paris. It was originally built as a church and to house relics but, after many changes, now functions as a secular mausoleum containing the remains of distinguished French citizens. There is an enormormous space inside and I wanted to try and capture this with a Vertorama composed of 6 images

The picture was taken with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 16mm This was a done handheld trying to get a smooth quick upward motion while taking the shots. The shots were taken at 1000 ISO to get a fast enough shutter speed. The originals were horizontal format.

Full details of the processing together with before and after images are on my brand new Blog
