This was my first HDR photo

I went here a few days after Christmas when everybody was at the sales and it was very quiet so few people to get in the way.

I asked about using a Tripod at reception and was told that was fine, just to be careful the legs don’t fall down the grates. A lot of the pictures were taken with a priest just behind me with no objection. Then as I was nearly finished a (back office) priest came up to me and said using tripods was not allowed but as it was very quiet it would be ok. The moral seems to be to go early when it is not busy as most of the staff do not know their rules.

The photo was taken with a Sony A550 with a Sigma 10-20 Zoom at 10mm. I set the Aperture too high so some exposures were a little too long

3 raw images were taken at 2EV spacing. As my Camera does not have sufficient auto bracketing the pictures were taken manually using exposure compensation settings. All photos Opened in Photoshop Camera Raw. Noise reduced in Photoshop with Noiseware Pro Plugin for each picture and saved as Tiffs.

Opened in Photomatix with alignment and noise reduction. Outputted to the fusion mode as detail enhancer produced too much noise
