The former Cam Railway Station. 1991

The former Cam Railway Station. 1991
Not much to look at, but this is the site of the former Cam railway station in Gloucestershire, photographed in 1991. The site now belongs to Cam Mills. Appropriately enough, the stream (on the right of the picture) is the River Cam, which the village is named after. Today (2013) the area has been landscaped. When I was a boy and living in Cam, most of the former Coaley Junction to Dursley railway line was a scenic walk which was open to the public, but, bit by bit, sections were sold off, and today I don't think any of the former line is accessible to the public.
