I did not dare to begin with such beach-captures. Otherwise our morning and evening walks wouldn't be longer than about 50 meters - far to many lines and forms ...
This one is very interesting and beautifully captured.

Yes indeed Werner, I was on my own! When I'm with my husband or other people, I see these things and just have to look away and ignore them......and remind myself there are other reasons for walking, not just photography

I once read about the "heart-modus" - it then was meant a bit differently: when on travels batteries run empty and cards are full, you happily should keep the imagines in your heart. Like people did for many, many centuries. In this modus I switch in such moments and still enjoy. ;-)

Yes, I still enjoy too.....but I have to make a conscious effort to store things in my heart instead of an a card!

It's terrific! Yes, I would heed to be alone for this kind of beach walk and photography for fear of irritating everyone else!

So delicate! I love such details on beaches, sadly it's only on holidays I have a chance to go there.

Even though I only live about 20 miles from the coast, I always wish we were nearer

The world is full of such beauty and often so ephemeral. I only live about twelve miles from the shore but I don't go often enough.
