Cloisters

Cloisters
For TSC: Perspective... if you see something you would normally shoot... go from a different angle or time of day or camera setting.

I've photographed in these cloisters plenty of times, but decided to try a wide angle, making a rather unclassical composition

Hubs 56, Bruno Suignard, Roger Bennion, funtor and 32 other people have particularly liked this photo

Think it is brilliant, the people bring it to life.

Beautifully captured wide angle image, Judith! I normally would prefer a composition like this without people, also, but in this case the people add extra interest and life to it :-))

Fine perspective. Like some others said: the people add to the photo. To take a photo without people one have to be there outside opening hours, or, take multiple images and combine them into one

I have recently bought a 10-18mm lens and church interiors have proved to be some of the best locations to use it. You have done a magnificent job here. Definitely a favorite and the Explore 'editor' obviously agrees, Judith.

This 'unclassical composition' works exceptionally well. I really like the feeling of space it creates. Excellent control of the exposure setting and love the play of light here. An immediate fave for me, Judith.
