Other countries have snow to transform and simplify their landscapes, or the beautiful lines of sand dunes. I feel I have to grab the opportunity these floods give to see my local landscape at its most graphic. 13/100 The Water and the Land

It is becoming beyond a joke Judith I pity those poor people that have been flooded it must be terrible I am so glad I live on a hill.

It seems there's water almost everywhere now. Areas close to us are flooded but so far we're dry - lets hope it stays that way.
Enjoy your weekend and stay dry.

You've made a beautiful image of a transformed landscape. Everyone here is tired of gloomy skies and rain but aware that we are lucky compared to the south. It sounds dreadful.

What dreadful weather you've had! Seems like you are making the most of it though with these amazing images documenting the floods.

You're doing a marvellous job of documenting these floods Judith...........and I'm really enjoying your photographs. This one, in particular has some lovely tones and unusual, but gorgeous light!

Et oui.... voir le monde dans un grain de sable ou dans une goutte d'eau est une grande
aventure ! Mais quel est donc votre pays ?
