96 on top the platform, 72 in the shade below

This is a little project I'm working on. However now I'm taking a break until later in the day. Why? You may ask.. OK, I may tell you. :-)

So! Today the temperature in the sun is 96 degrees F. (36 degrees C.), in the shade it's a nice 72 degrees F (23 C.). Alas, where I'm working, atop the platform, there ain't no shade! I've changed sweat soaked tee shirts 3 time so far today. So! I'm going to wait until this evening, when the sun's in the west and the house will shade my work area before continuing.

& what is this project going to end up being? You may well ask..

Well I guess I could tell you it'll be an outside deck 12 feet (4 meters) above the ground where I'll hold wild parties with absurd amounts of alcohol whereupon many of my drunken friends will fall off on their heads. Just think of it as me doing my little bit to clean up the gene pool. ;-)

OK, OK actually it's not gonna be a party platform, it's a pole barn or pole shed, just a roofed area to create a snow free spot for when during the winter I've an outside project I want to work on, at minus forty degrees, -but when I don't want to have to work knee deep in snow. Now that's the truth! -grin-
