Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum)

Alexanders (Smyrnium olusatrum)
Seen near Newton, Suffolk, this is usually the first umbellifer to flower each year.

Christiane ♥.•*¨`*•✿, have particularly liked this photo

Thanks, Jaap, and the same for me, I've always loved the green freshness of spring. :-)

Not sure it is exactly the kind I am meeting when walking in the woods ... But I am seeing a lot of different umbellifers too and have a rather large photos-collection of them.
Wish you a lovely new week, dear Dean.

Ah, they could well be, Christiane, but I am no expert. However, I can say that all the Alexanders I've seen have been in the open, and often near beaches. Have a great new week yourself. :-)
