Stoned Milanos

Stoned Milanos
The things that we do to post photos on here just amazes me at times. This is the third (3rd) trip that I've made to this place just to take a picture. My first shot was just of the stones. While eating Milanos and processing the image, I noticed that the Milanos looked a lot like these stones, or vice versa. So, then I photo shopped them into the image, but it looked phony. So, in order not to be accused of manipulating the image, I made a second (2nd) trip out there to actually place the Milanos into the rock columns. And this is what I did. But when processing this 2nd image, I wasn't happy with it since only the edges of the cookies were showing. So, I made a 3rd trip, but this time, I layered the Milanos on their flat sides to come up with this image, which I just now posted for your viewing pleasure.

I’m not sure if anyone saw me placing cookies into these rock columns, but if they did, they most likely had thoughts like, “What is that idiot doing?” “Why in the world would anyone place cookies into a column of rocks?”

Anyway, I learned a lot about gravity and had something good to eat on the way home.

Wow, what a lot of hard work................but well worth it. I had to Google Milanos and I now see the trouble you had getting the cookies to look right amongst the stones.

Great (if unusual) idea for a shot and very well executed........and you get to eat some of the subject matter..........perfect result!
