My tripod is whole again!

My tripod is whole again!
Our Alberta trip had a minor casualty. During the Lake Louise visit, it started to rain, and in a rush to collect everything, I left the my tripod's quick-release platform plate.

Luckily, I didn't need the tripod for the remainder of the trip, but I promptly bought a replacement after returning to Toronto.

Manfrotto is a world-renowned tripod maker and every product is still made in Italy!

(Perfect for my "Things NOT made in China" photo group.)

Glad you got the part back. Back in 1978 in a similar rush I left a Glanz brand 2X teleconvertor for my Minolta SLR sitting on a rock in New Zealand. We were holidaying there.

It was the best thing I ever did with it. I bought a new one, duty free, of a different brand which was much better optically.
