The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, 66 Knightsbridge, London SW1

The Hong Kong flag is flown because The Mandarin Oriental hotel group is based in Hong Kong. Even though most people think of Switzerland when it comes to high-end hotel management, Hong Kong is home to three of the world's top hotel chains: The Peninsula, The Mandarin Oriental, and The Shangri-La hotel groups.

The areas of Knightsbridge, Mayfair and St. James's are where many foreign nations maintain their embassies in London, and are well-known for its luxurious shops, elegant hotels and expensive real estate.

A classic Kensington building, too, with the shallow balconies, strapwork, and stone contrasted with brick. It dominates all the buildings round it.
