Water lily (nymphaea spp.)

Water lily (nymphaea spp.)
Most people think of Hong Kong as an extremely crowded, urban and bustling city, which is true. But Hong Kong also has huge areas of countryside and nature reserve. This is the Hong Kong Wetland Park. Here is the info from the official web site:

(Partial and with edits)
Located at the northern part of Tin Shui Wai, New Territories, Hong Kong, the site of Hong Kong Wetland Park was originally intended to be an ecological mitigation area (EMA), it was later turned into a world-class wetland ecotourism attraction. A government study concluded that it was feasible to develop a Wetland Park at the EMA without compromising its intended ecological mitigation functions.

You should've been Explored for this one, too. An excellent, variegated background for the smooth pink surfaces of the lily.

Wow, that means a lot coming from you. I never understand how a photo gets to Explore or how does one confirm if a pic is in Explore or not. Sometimes, someone comments "Congrats on being Explored!" And my reaction is: It is in Explore? I don't even know... how can one tell??
