DAF concept three-wheeled car

DAF concept three-wheeled car
Following our visit to the Philips Museum, Olga & Peter and Arthur drove me to the DAF Museum. All three of us are bus and truck buffs : )

For those who didn't know, DAF (originally Van Doorne's Aanhangwagen Fabriek - "Van Doorne's Trailer-wagon Fabrication") is a major truck/ lorry bus builder based in the Netherlands. Since 1996, DAF has been a subsidiary of American truck builder PACCAR. DAF used to build small cars also, but sold its car business to Volvo in 1975.

I don't believe this 3-wheeler DAF-kini ever went into mass production. Apart from wearing it in the rain, or using it to jump over puddles, I cannot think of practical reason for using it ;-)
Interesting photo though, Swire.

Thank you Neil! Indeed I think this is less practical than the Reliant Regal... this tiny DAF is really just a motorised tricycle!

So strange that it was never introduced to the mass market.
