View from the Westfries Museum (sans motorcycle)
The Westfries Museum is a museum of the Dutch Golden Age. It is housed in one of Hoorn’s most beautiful monuments, the Statencollege, which was built in 1632. It is easy to recognize by its richly adorned façade. As imposing as the building is on the outside, as intimate it is inside. You can enjoy wandering through as many as 27 rooms, each with its own atmosphere and theme.
