Fidelity Investments
It's said one can easily tell how wealthy (and healthy) a community (neighbourhood) is by the presence or absence of banks, investment firms and supermarkets. A poor neighbourhood has no bank, investment firm or supermarket where one can save money, or buy fresh produce. This is actually quite true. Poor communities often have only quick-cash loan shops but hardly any bank where residents can deposit money; poor neighbourhoods also have KFCs, Taco Bells and McDonalds but no grocers.

Well, the village of Woodmere might be very small (only 800 residents according to Wikipedia), it has a few banks, this Fidelity Investments office, an Apple store, a Tiffany's store, a Whole Foods market, plus other high-end shopping.

My neighbourhood must be really poor, even the quick-cash loan shop closed down ;-)

You are funny! But I got good news for you... if the quick-cash loan shop is shutting down, your neighbourhood must be on the way up, way way way UP! You won't find no loan shop in Toronto's upscale Rosedale neighbourhood, let me tell you.
