DnB NOR Lon UK

DnB NOR Lon UK
After visiting Bermondsey Antiques Market, I'd several hours in between. Later in the afternoon I'd an appointment to visit the London Fire Brigade Museum. I wanted to visit some of the shops in Mayfair and Pall Mall but knew that I wouldn't have time to rush back to the Fire Brigade Museum so I decided to stay in the City.

In the end I checked my list of London banks and decided to pay St. Dunstan's Hill a visit. This is the London offices of Norwegian bank DnBNOR, formed in 2003 when Den norske Bank (DnB) merged with Gjensidige NOR.

[Does anyone know what Gjensidige mean in Norwegian?] *** It means "Mutual" apparently ***

Photo taken at the corner of St. Dunstan's Hill and Lower Thames Street.

I've now published a brief history of DnB NOR:
