The street below is Cheapside. The tallest building in the picture is Tower 42, formerly the NatWest Tower. The pickle-shaped building is the London head office of Swiss Re (Swiss Reinsurance Co.), the building is more commonly nicknamed the Gerkhin.

St. Mary-le-Bow Church on Cheapside is another church designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Traditionally only those born within the sound of the Bow bells can be called a true Londoner.
