421-Year-Old, and Counting
Staple Inn at the intersection of Gray's Inn Road and High Holborn is the last real Elizabethan, half-timber building left in central London. It was completed in 1586!

Strangely, a colleague of mine here in Toronto, who moved from Essex a few years ago, told me that he never knew about this building even though he worked in London for years.
