St. Andrew, New Brunswick: The Whale Store / Boutique la Baleine

St. Andrew, New Brunswick: The Whale Store / Boutique la Baleine
New/ Noveau Brunswick is the most francophone province in Canada after Quebec. The province took its name from the German region Braunschweig because Braunschweig is where English King Geroge I of Hanover was from.

New Brunswick (and NOT Quebec) is Canada's only officially bilingual province, due to its significant Francophone population in the northern and western part of the province. Quebec, despite its overwhelming Francophone population outside of Montreal, is not officially bilingual becuase English is not an "official" language in provincial affairs. Strange eh?
