Nature's Helicopter (Hummingbird)

Nature's Helicopter (Hummingbird)
My friend's parents' home in rural New Brunswick is a heaven for wildlife. This hummingbird is on final approach to Nectar Port!

Taken during a visit to Breadalbane (St. George), New Brunswick, in August 2006. Incidentally, the province was named New Brunswick after the German region of Braunschweig. At the time, George Louis the Duke of Braunschweig and Luneburg, inherited the British throne after Queen Anne died in 1714. He became King George I of Great Britain. To commemorate King Geroge's home and title, the new province in Canada was named New Brunswick, after Braunschweig.
