Never mind Sephora... it's the architecture

Never mind Sephora... it's the architecture
597 Fifth Avenue, Manhattan.

This is the former Charles Scribner's & Sons Building. Built in 1913 and designed by Ernest Flagg. It features the impressive, airy, two-story vaulted-store-front.

Charles Scribner's & Sons, publishers and booksellers, was founded in 1846.

Another photo showing the side of this building to come later.

The photo is tilted... I took it in such a rush and my uncle and aunt were with me. Should have corrected it with PhotoShop. Ah well...
