Channel Gardens, between the British Empire and France
This is the Channel Gardens* in Rockefeller Center. On both sides of the narrow gardens are the British Empire Building (left) and La Maison Française (right). The gardens were so named because the English Channel separates Britain and France.

I'm looking east towards Saks Fifth Avenue store, on, well, the Fifth Avenue.
