My accidental fountain pen collection

My accidental fountain pen collection
Much to my surprise, I've met more nice, friendly, intelligent and interesting friends on flickr than on any other dating or social-network web sites.

Many of the so-called "contacts" have become close friends that I either have met, or have been in touch regularly. Despite believing that I know some of them quite well, I was surprised to discover that my friend Michiel and I share a passion for fountain pens.

I must admit that I've never bought a fountain pen in my life, my dad left us a small collection. Only these three I use for special occasions (mostly the very rare hand-written letters, or Christmas cards etc.)

Here from top to bottom are:

Waterman C/F Plaque Or G (Made in France)
Parker 75 (Made in France)
Parker 51 (Made in USA)

In the fountain-pen business, apparently it's the American-made vintage pens that have a value. The British- and French-made ones are not worth much money.
