Weaponry at the Hau Wong Temple

Weaponry at the Hau Wong Temple
According to legends, the Hau Wong temples in Hong Kong pay tribute to a general from the end of the Sung / Song dynasty (960 to 1279). He supposedly helped and escorted the last emperor of the Sung dynasty, who was in exile and being pursued by a new emperor, to escape from central China all the way to Hong Kong. His righteousness and loyalty was much admired by the people that temples were built to commemorate his life and contribution.

Because he was a general, replicas of ancient weaponry often are displayed at Hau Wong Temples.

I'm not a religious person, still, seeing and reading about such things is interesting.
