The Old Town Coffee House, Stirling.

Stirling is a town at the heart of Scottish nationalism, and some have argued a more fitting capital than Edinburgh. It's castle was variously a stronghold for weakening English power (under Edward II) and the Stewarts, becoming the royal seat of Jameses IV, V and VI (before he became James I of England). Earlier, the Battle of Bannockburn had been fought within site of its walls. Mary Queen of Scots was crowned there.
