Overnight snow on the Pikes

Overnight snow on the Pikes
We walked up to Chapel Stile to have lunch at the the Brambles café over the Co-op Store and saw that snow had fallen on the Pikes overnight.

Good heavens - and we've been having glorious weather here, although it has rained today.

Yes, we had snow here in central Scotland yesterday - what a cheek!

I love this slate grey. And I love that you have a cafe over a Co-op :-)

The Co-op Shop is the central slate building, Rabbit, and the Brambles café is housed in the extension at the back with the two small windows showing. Here's a previous photo of mine showing the humour of the Co-op's manager, Jeremy: Blackboard Humour

How lovely. My nearest Co-op is a sixties concrete box.....

It's a beautiful spot and the snowy hills look wonderful. We've had snow here too.

Good to see there's a COOP with an upstairs. We used to holiday at Burnham-on-Sea in the '70s and they had an upstairs in their COOP. I can't remember what they stocked up there, but I remember it was a source of fascination/amusement or something.
