Looking down onto Dragon Hill - that flat top is man-made. It was probably levelled by the Dobunni, a local Celtic tribe, and used for ceremonial purposes as there is evidence of fires and ritual on the top.

[3] The HFF is to keep sheep and visitors off the Uffington Horse, the head is on the edge of my image.
