NSR - hist - NSR35 at Leek
Historical research - the 6-wheel Brake 3rd NSR35, with a porter loading goods into the luggage portion of the carriage. Probably dated 1905, but known to be at Leek.

Erhard Bernstein, Ernest CH, Tractacus, gezginruh and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

The Knotty Coach Trust are doing just that - their restored carriages run on the Foxfield Railway (Staffordshire).
Currently, two are "in service" , an NSR brake carriage is being rebuilt and the fourth will be a first class, presently awaiting funds for the work.
