Passing through
Occasionally during migration time we get surprise visitors to our backyard. That's the case with this Thrush (Swainson's Thrush I think), a first time visitor to my backyard. He's been coming around for the past few days to snack on the red berries of Ravina humilis.
Shooting him was rather difficult as he's pretty constantly on the move, and light conditions have been very poor. We've had almost non-stop rain for days with very heavy cloud cover.

Photographed in Heredia, Costa Rica | October/November 2010.
