White tipped Black Moth
Melanchroia chephise . A rather small moth, they are really quite pretty flitting about - the white wing tips really catch the eye. Despite it's name, they more often appear a lovely blue color. They never stop flitting about - they are always on the move, very hard to photograph. I was very fortunate one day to catch one just emerging from the pupal stage - so it had no choice but to sit still until it's wings were ready to fly.
