Class picture

Class picture
This is one of the first pictures that I bought from an antique store. I posted it a couple of years ago before I started making any tweaks to the contrast or anything like that before uploading my pictures, so I thought it might be a good idea to spruce it up a little bit (though I couldn't do much more than adjust the contrast and saturation a bit) and upload it here. So, that's what I did and here it is.

Here's the description that I posted with it on Flickr:

I bought this picture today at an antique mall that i just discovered not too far away from where I live. it was little bit overpriced, but I just couldn't leave it behind after noticing that it had almost all of the names of these kids on the reverse (which I'll post below in the comments section) Some of the names and numbers are only partially visible due to some considerable damage to the backing and I honestly think that whoever tried to number it might have been drunk at the time, but it's still a pretty neat find. From what I can tell, there are two sets of twins in this class (Numbers 24 and 30, Harold and Howard Curtiss, and numbers 44 and 54, Edith and Emma Swanson) and, based on the little shoulder frills some of the boys are wearing, the photo itself seems to have been taken sometime in the 1890's (I haven't seen much of them in 20th century photos).
