Cyrtandra sp R Road1

Cyrtandra sp R Road1
June 21, 2009. R Road, Stainback Highway. Cyrtandra tinntinabula? The elongate, campanulate calyx makes it look like that species, but it's quite a ways from where it is documented to occur, and the bracts are much longer than any other possible described species. It was very common in this area, which makes it odd for it to be overlooked and too abundant to be a hybrid. True C. platyphylla was present but rare.
