One of those days when I wish my wide angle was that bit wider.....

One of those days when I wish my wide angle was that bit wider.....
Baddesley Clinton - in a rare moment of calm. I couldn't get further away without the tree whose shadow is on the right of the house, coming into view - and if I had raised the angle I would have cropped the reflection too much for my liking.

Two portrait format shots merged. Moments later the calm disappeared along with the reflection!

Is this part of the flooding Roy, or does one have to jump on a cruise ship to get to the front door?? LOL

Excellent structure, maybe requires some renovation work and for sure, the moat water has to be lowered!! Well taken and nicely presented ... great reflections two!!

The water is so still.....and not a flood but a moat. Looks like a great place, and beautiful with the light and shadows falling on out

Well done on that one and a creative way to do it. It is a strange thing about wide angle lenses. They seem huge when you first start to use them....then over time, they seem to become narrower ;) The result is superb, lovely light and detail

A lovely scene, the shadow of the tree does not detract too much (could say it adds a touch of mystery!).

Well Roy,

This will be my last series of comments here at Ipernity ... almost everything I had to do here is done. Time for me to start re-establishing my old site at the other location and re-design and develop my new invite groups. It will take some time ... but it will be done in the very near future. I would like to say thanks for your comments, favs and support since I came to Ipernity in May 22, 2013. The best of luck to you here at Ipernity ... and I hope your photography rules your efforts ... rather than the politics of this place. The very best to you ...

Sincerely Art

PS: Happy Valentine's day to you!!
