Earth day Challenge #3: avoid drive-thrus

Earth day Challenge #3: avoid drive-thrus
I think drive-thru service is appropriate for elderly, disabled, & families with small children or babies in the car, but too many able-bodied Americans use them. I am guilty of this sometimes if I'm listening to a good NPR story or in a rush, but seriously people, we need to park our cars and walk into the building instead of idling our cars! Walk into fastfood places you'll find the place practically empty, and the drive-thru window is getting all the action. My goal is to reduce drive-thru use by about 80-90 percent. If it's raining cats and dogs and there's no wait at the drive-thru I reserve the right to cheat. :-)

Side benefit: I ate inside the Taco Bell (whose drive-thru is in the photo) today, and actually got what I ordered, plus napkins and hot sauce! When using the drive-thru I hardly ever got napkins, and frequently my order was incorrect.

I hope you enjoy this collage. It took me a very long time (with my kids' help) to figure out how to layer the "no" sign on top of the photos.
