Fruit cream pudding
This is my 2nd offering for the Mid-Century Supper Club pool. I wasn't quite as successful here at matching the dish visually, was in a bit of a rush, and should have arranged the cookies better. Also my pudding is darker in color. I followed the recipe, but used vanilla jello pudding, the kind you cook, instead of the generic "vanilla pudding powder" mentioned in the recipe. It has "Sego Milk" (a Utah brand of evaporated milk, diluted with water and juice from the can of apricots) in it. There are also some diced apricots stirred into the pudding. At least this one was much more edible. My kids had some for an after-school snack. I wish I had those gorgeous blue dessert dishes like in the photo. If anyone wants me to scan the actual recipe, let me know.

I just found the copyright book of the pamphlet, published by Sego, a brand of evaporated milk. It is 1942, slightly on the early edge of the pool's date range.
