Trans-hemispherical collaboration 2 – August 2013
Artist/sculptor Jolyon Dupuy (http://www.ipernity.com/home/293511) invited me to collaborate with him on some images. I sent him some of my photographs and he sent me pictures of his sculptures. I played with forms and meanings. He has done the same thing in England. This is my effort. It is interesting that fusing the two DNAs we have come up with such differing works. August 2013

Bluesrose, Lorrie McClanahan, John Linton and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

most interesting project. I like how you've chosen to highlight and simplify some of Jolyon's organic forms.

I've enjoyed it both because of the results and because it is a different way of working for me. It is a picture contrived - but I do wonder the difference - a picture found can be a picture contrived too. You can choose whether to take it or not, or which point of view, cropping, exposure, light. All pictures are about choices. Maybe it isn't a new way of working after all!
