Bumper Car for the Military

Bumper Car for the Military
We don't know what it is, but Rogerio and I certainly saw it. It was like a chimera or a mirage.

Since it was moving, we had no chance to investigate.

RQ 01012015 has particularly liked this photo

Tyler has said (on old-Flickr CMG) that he believes it is based on a John Deer vehicle.

Thanks everyone for the invitations to your groups. A bit of introduction to our new Car Memoroes and Guesses Group, which Martin and I founded in 2007 on Flickr. Now Martin has begun the Ipernity version here, and also Cornelius has cloned the parallel North American railroad memories group (link later).

Here's a brief welcome from Martin--in Nederlands:

Car Memories and Guesses-Ipernity

The art and fun of car photography!

Every photo has a story to tell. And photos with automobiles are no exception. Show us your car related photos that mean something to you, dig up photos from the family album, bring us the odd, the remarkable or anything worthwhile you see and have photographed for us.

Make us part of the way you experience the hobby we call 'car'. Cars, memorabilia, brochures. You name it.

Trucks and busses and bikes are of course 'car-related!'

I want to stress the 'Memories' part. It refers to stories about the cars--personal experiences, histories of the models, engineering, designs, Q& A, etc.

When we first began, on the 'other network,' lol, we almost immediately reveled in someone's 'memory': He wrote 'I was born in the rear seat of a 1954 Studebaker on the way to the hospital!.' You see what we mean?

My first was: 'My mother took me for a haircut when I was 10. She proved to me that her used Packard 1950 convertible could make a nice U-turn on a busy street in Van Nuys. She also proved it the cop watching from his Harley!'

Martin is in Katwijk, but four of us met recently on a VIP visit to the (now closed temporarily) Walter Chrysler Museum. Left to right: Steve, Rogerio, Grant, and Tyler.

I can't find the proc to put the photo in this Comment, but:
