Scotch Arthur

Scotch Arthur
One of the 1925 Glasgow built locos, and generally referred to as 'Scotch Arthurs'. Former Southern Railway 'King Arthur' 4-6-0 No 777 'Sir Lamiel' rests outside the loco shed at Loughborough, Great Central Railway.

Thanks. I believe this is the SR malachite green. I would think it would be quite eye watering on a sunny day! Most historys I've seen about these refer to the two batches as 'Eastleigh Arthurs' and Scotch Arthurs'.
