NBL Type 2
North British Loco Type 2/Class 22 No D6340 dumped out of use at Bristol Marsh Jn, on Sat31Jul71. The loco was cut up the following year at Swindon Works, after a service life of just 9 years.

The Westerns and Hymeks were fairly successful, but these Class 22s, and Class 14 Teddy Bears, didn't live up to expectations. That being the case, a fair number diesel electric types fared even worse!
