Y5 Day 215, Cabbage Tree

Y5 Day 215, Cabbage Tree
August 2014 hunt 9. Barking up the wrong tree – find some really interesting bark and take a macro shot (lol, no dogs instead of trees!) - Ruth TH8/14/9

Here's a cabbage tree that is probably about 8 - 10 years older than yesterdays one.
In the note is a branch of our peach tree,
and below is the trunk of our Cherry Blossom tree, both with yesterdays rain still showing

Nice lichens on the cherry! The cabbage tree bark is intriguing. How thick is it?

Thanks, Rob! It's not as thick as it looks in the main picture.
