The semaphore signal is very clearly off for the departure of the Class 101 diesel multiple unit from Loughborough station. Because of the fire risk the steam locos are confined to shed and diesels have taken over the services.

Another nice loco shot from you. Yes steam as you say can be dangerous in the dry weather. I was once on the NYMR when it set fire to the surrounding dry grasses, requiring the crew to stop the train and slack the fire out. Well done.

Love the composition with the signals in the foreground. It is a shame about the steam trains but understandable. When we were on the Jacobite from Fort William to Mallaig we were told about incidents where the dry grass and hedgerow caught fire, so I know it can be an issue. Better safe than sorry
