Visiting LNER B12/3 4-6-0 8572 bursts out from under the Great Central Road overbridge with the 09.45 departure for Leicester during the Winter Gala.

Most excellent shot !! Great use of the zoom. The exhaust from the loco could have made a real mess but you've caught it at the perfect moment. I bet the big "Great Central" sign and the platform starter weren't visible a few seconds later. The long rake of coaches don't look particularly good but they do give depth to the photo. A cracking image - Well Done.

Thanks a lot, much appreciated. You're right, only seconds later the exhaust spread out. Couldn't do too much about the coaches from this angle though.
