Great Central Railway Loughborough Leicestershire 18th September 2016

The Indian Summer continues and Great Western Railway Modified Hall 4-6-0 6990 Witherslack Hall departs from Loughborough in brilliant sunshine.

The train in platform 1 had just arrived from Leicester behind 92214 the other engine in steam today. Class 25 diesel D5185 is stabled in the Down Siding.

Thanks. Me too. I don't think I've taken a shot from here in full sun before! Certainly the Hall fairly glistened not to mention the yellow end of the Class 25.
