Yes, the only one flying these days but it costs something like £2 million a year to keep it in the air! So they need commercial sponsorship as well as enthusiast support to do it.

That's BIG bucks, thanks. Must be magnificent to see and hear. Makes steam preservation seem reasonable...

I've only seen a V bomber once, probably late 60s, on the ground in the distance at RAAF Richmond.
