Sleepy Volt

We have two places that are 44.1 miles apart and rather than driving my gas-guzzling 4x4, I drive this Volt which makes the entire trip on electricity from a charge at either of our two places. Most people who own Volts probably drive about 35 miles before a gasoline engine kicks in to "juice" up the battery that the Volt runs on. But most Volt owners are not as hell-bent-for-leather to avoid gasoline being used in their Volt, so I drive 45-50 MPH and make the entire trip on electrons produced here in Texas from thousands of wind turbines that are located here.

This has become like a new "sport" for me, hypermiling in my Volt. I've found that when I drive my Volt, I am like the mild mannered Dr. Jekyll and when I am in my GMC Sierra 4x4 2500 HD long wheelbase, I am the evil Mr. Hyde. I rather think having this "diversity" is very amusing for my entertainment and enjoyment...
