I drive by this Episcopal church frequently but have never been inside. Tonight, I decided to stop and take a few photos for the August Treasure Hunt. It's was interesting to get up close and really appreciate the features and details of the building. I love these field stone churches. There are many similar to this here in New England.

I wish I could have shared the Episcopal Church building that I attended in my youth. It was a simple country church, but it is long gone now... a sad story that I may share some day.

Nicely found! Love the details of the rough stone & weatherboard construction!

Thanks, Robert. I didn't have much choice for perspective... this church is tucked in between some businesses and the busy downtown Main Street was just a few steps behind me! I was standing at the edge of the sidewalk, with my heels hanging over the curbing. I could go up the sidewalk, or down the sidewalk, or stand right in front and look up (which is not usually the best choice...), and if I crossed the street and went over to the other side, I now would have utility lines and trees blocking the view. So, this is the vantage point I settled on.
